Team Members
The DSS team is a dynamic (hence, our name), diverse group of problem solvers. Each one is creative and talented. Many of our team members work and interact across the U.S. which we view as an asset that contributes to our success. Several of these team members have roots close to home in Logan, Utah and Utah State University.
Adrienne Akers, President & CEO
In 2007, Adrienne Akers left a 34 year career as a senior researcher at the Early Intervention Research Institute at Utah State University to start up Dynamic Screening Solutions, Inc. Adrienne spearheaded the development and testing of The ONE Application from the outset. She served as the project director of the original federal grant that provided funding to create, pilot and deploy the initial prototype of The ONE Application in Utah. Adrienne pursued and achieved a 2006 Innovation Award from the Council of State Governments for the core technology associated with The ONE Application. Adrienne holds a masters degree from Utah State University. Adrienne provides senior direction and management of the company with a focus on marketing, sales and strategic development. Currently Adrienne sits as the co-chair of the Cache Entrepreneurial Council.

Matt brings over 20 years of experience in information networking, architecture, design, education and research with a focus on introducing new products to market. He began with DSS as a Utah Centers of Excellence (COE) business consultant (2006-07) and continued to be heavily involved with the company. He was the co-founder and Chief Information Architect of Gettuit Commerce Technologies, where he was responsible for developing technology infrastructure, product prototypes and management information systems, and helped build the company from zero to 50 employees in18 months. Matt has an MS in Information Resources Management and completed all PhD coursework in Information Transfer from Syracuse University.

James carries with him strong fundamentals in software development as well as the passion for creating groundbreaking web applications. As a student at Utah State University he gained a diverse knowledge-base of application development, ranging from advanced search algorithms to interface design. Upon his arrival at Dynamic Screening Solutions in August 2007, he became the lead developer for a new screening application project that is scheduled to launch in the near future. James graduated in the spring of 2008 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a Minor in Math. He dedicates his free time to his wife, dog, and fantasy football.

Heidi came to us with several years of account management, accounting, marketing and customer service experience in the travel industry under her belt. She joined the team in April 2008 after graduating with a B.S. in Business Marketing from Utah State University. While a student she was challenged with many different projects from setting up a successful holiday marketing campaign for a local business to location selection for a nationwide chain to the introduction of a new product to the emerging Chinese market. Her challenge now is leading the marketing efforts for the exciting new solutions developed by DSS.
